This is Mr. Jeffries (Knightsfollie Ladiesman), a grandson of Biggles, of Hush Puppy basset fame. His ears measure 11.5 inches and are insured for $47,800 according to the AP. Mr. Jeffries is included in the 2004 Guinness Book of World Records as the dog with the longest ears. Reportedly, Mr. Jeffries will howl in the morning if not promptly served his tea with 2 slices of toast topped with strawberry jam.
